Experience beautiful nature and unique history interacting with art at an international level. Ekebergparken is a public park in Oslo, located in Ekebergåsen with a view of the city and fjord. The park is free to visit and open to the public around the clock, all year round.

A public park with a long history

Ekebergparken is a public sculpture and cultural heritage park, measuring app. 63 acres of the hill surrounding Oslo to the east. The park is the result of a cooperation between Oslo Municipality and C. Ludens Ringnes Foundation. The initiative to establish the park came from real estate investor and philanthropist, Christian Ringnes. The park is financed by C. Ludens RIngnes Foundation, and has been open to the public since September 2013.  Back then, the collection numbered 31 unique works of art. Today, the park features 49 artworks.
