Do you want to film/photograph in Ekebergparken for professional use?
1. Get permission: The park must approve and be made aware of where, what and when you plan to film/photograph. Send a request here.
2. No obstacles for visitors: You must not obstruct the movement of other visitors. As a public park, all visitors have the right to move freely in the park. This means that it is not possible for you to banish other visitors from the area where you are filming/photographing. There is also no room to ask other visitors to wait to leave. If other visitors come, filming/photographing must stop until those in question have moved on. There is a requirement that you carry out the filming/photographing in a way that is adapted to other visitors in the park and that is not annoying to other visitors. There is no opportunity to block off areas in the park.
3. Photo licensing: When photographing or filming artworks in the park, you must contact BONO and clarify the rules that apply to remuneration and depiction of intellectual property. Most of the artworks in the park's collection are subject to the Copyright Act and require that remuneration be paid to BONO and that the artworks are correctly credited in consultation with BONO. Read more and find contact information at Bono.no.
4. Written consent: Similarly, written consent must be obtained for photographing visitors in the park if this is applicable. We recommend that you have consent contracts for filming/photography that you can present to those who may be affected. If visitors object to being filmed or photographed, this must be respected. It is your responsibility to obtain and manage the consent.
5. No cars/vehicles allowed: It is not possible to drive inside the park. Ekebergparken has parking (Autopay) for visitors. In addition to this, it may be possible to park outside the Ekeberg restaurant, but this must be clarified directly with the restaurant. You can find the restaurant's current contact information here.
6. Arrangements and inspections: If you need arrangements or assistance from the park, i.e. access to electricity or similar, this must be clarified in advance. We will then require that an inspection of the area you have selected be carried out to determine whether it is possible to arrange this. In such a case, a separate fee will be charged for the work carried out in addition to a fee for renting electricity.
