Do you want to organize an event in the park?
Ekebergparken is a public park, and all inquiries about events must be made through Bymiljøetaten at byleie.no.
Familiarize yourself with our guidelines for events in the park:
Get permission: The park must approve and be made aware of where, what and when you are planning. This applies to both large and small events. Send your request here.
No obstacles for visitors: You should not obstruct the movement of other visitors. As a public park, all visitors have the right to move freely in the park. This means that it is not possible for you to banish other visitors from the area where you are going to hold the event. There is also no room to ask other visitors to wait to leave. If other visitors come, any filming/photography must stop until the people in question have left. There is a requirement that the event be carried out in a way that is adapted to other visitors in the park and that is not annoying to other visitors. There is no opportunity to block off areas in the park.
There is no opportunity to drive inside the park. Ekebergparken has parking (Autopay) for visitors. In addition, there may be an opportunity to park outside the Ekebergrestaurant, but this must be clarified directly with the restaurant as they are separate from the sculpture park itself. You can find the restaurant's current contact information here.
Arrangements and inspections: If you need arrangements or assistance from the park, i.e. access to electricity or similar, this must be clarified in advance. We will then require that an inspection of the area you have set out to assess whether it is possible to arrange this. In such a case, a separate fee will be charged for the work carried out in addition to a fee for renting electricity.
Contact us: We ask that you contact us and let us know where and when you plan to have the event so that we know what is happening in the park when. Contact us here.
