Ekebergparken Museum and shop
The Ekebergparken Museum and shop is situated in a white Swiss chalet style villa you first see when turning off Kongsveien toward Ekebergparken. The house is located at Kongsveien 23. Here you find our museum of history and nature, visitor centre, as well as our administration offices.
MUSEUM OF HISTORY AND NATURE
The museum presents collected research materials on Ekeberg. The Swiss chalet style villa was built by Anton M. Lund in 1891. The building is now owned by the municipality of Oslo. The C. Ludens Ringnes foundation did the rehabilitation and established the exhibition areas. The museum covers two floors. The first floor is devoted to the history of Ekeberg, a history reaching all the way back to the Stone Age. On the second floor the visitor can immerse into the local area's nature.
THE MUSEUM'S ART AND DESIGN SHOP
In Lund's house you will find our visitor centre where you can obtain information about your visit. In addition you can buy books and map over the park.
