KONTENTUM: Ekeberg Pavilion on Friday 31. March. 

Hours: 9 AM and 8 PM. 

Where: Ekeberg Pavilionby Dan Graham. 

KONTENTUM: Ekeberg Pavilion is a site-spesific soundwork made for Ekebergparkens art installation «Ekeberg Pavilion» (2013) by Dan Graham (1942-2022). The soundwork explores how sound and music can underline the experience of space and mirrors the surroundings inside the pavilion. It will be performed as a trio-performance, with Johanna Orellana (flute) and Sebastian Lindland (drums) and Ester Thunander (fiddle). The date, 31st of March, also marks Dan Grahams birthday. The performances lasts for about 40 minutes and is open for everyone. The audience is invited to walk around the artists as they perform inside the installation. Graham was himself interested in how the viewer experiences art and space. The double-sided glass windows in Ekeberg Pavilion contributes to mirror the viewers as they move inside the installation. Read more about the concerts in our facebook event here
